Group Format
1. Encouraged prequel: showing of The Earthing Movie. The movie is well worth seeing. Adding the documentary showing will about double clinical hours in this topic.
2. Educational: lesson on grounding: what it is and what science has to say about it
Some publications for use are linked below.
3. Interactive: weather and location permitting, time outdoors is dedicated to clients exploring grounding for themselves. (yes, hugging trees is highly recommended!) As long as skin contacts natural earth or vegetation directly, the person has engaged in grounding. Solo encouraged, meditation an appropriate layer to recommend in exploring.
Please compassionately, mindfully consider that clients may have allergies or sensory issues when conducting tactile/outside groups, alert to ensure they remain safe and comfortable.
4. Wrap up with an (ideally) barefoot and outdoors group-processing in circle.
