on intelligence
All along you have been wrong—
adjusting communication to
perceived intelligence of other.
eloquence as indicator.
key words, verbiage, vernacular.
Tell me, how serves it thee now,
now that intelligence is free?
Silly human singulars:
out of many, one;
from one: both judge and jury.
Illusory.
Information is no longer a commodity.
How goes those bulldozed brains?
Intelligence is no trait, no descriptor;
no communicative adjective or adverb.
It does not adorn.
No vessel can contain it.
It was, and is, and always will be
a noun, a product, a “something”
—in transit.
one of many things
communicated.
